Obituaries;
Mitchell – There passed away, April 16th, at her residence, 51 Maynard St., Mrs James Mitchell, beloved wife of James Mitchell. She leaves to mourn their loss a husband and four daughters, Mrs George Melvin, Mrs. P.A. Douglas, Mrs. R.J. Wallace and Mrs. W.G. Jollimore. Funeral at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon from 51 Maynard St. to Trenity Church. Interment at Camp Hill Cemetery.
The death of James M. Mitchell age 84 occurred at Head Jeddore, October 31st, 1953. Mr. Mitchell was a resident of Halifax for over 60 years, employed at D.A.R. as a checker, until retirement. Funeral service took place Sunday, November 1, 1953 at Baptist Church, Oyster Pond. Interment Oyster Pond Cemetery.
