CHIPMAN, Scott Arthur – 33, Hebbville, Lunenburg Co., died August 26, 2002. Born in Berwick, King’s Co., he was a son of Doris (Smith) Chipman, Wileville, and the late Robie Chipman. Scott was employed from the time he was 17 as a glass technician, first with Speedy Auto Glass and then Standard Auto Glass. He was a former Big Brother and minor hockey coach. He was a true sports fan and avid softball player. Scott was a self-taught guitar player and loved music. He was a friend to all and meant alot to all who knew him. Surviving are his former wife, Tanya, Hebbville; brother, Chris (Heather), New Minas; sister, Rita (Steve) Seney, Hebb’s Cross; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents. There will be no visitation in the funeral home by request. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. George MacLean officiating. Burial in Hebbville Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Bridgewater Minor Hockey Association. Arrangements entrusted to R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.
