CHIPMAN, Robie Wilbert – 58, Wileville, Lunenburg Co., died March 8, 1997, at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Arthur and Rita (Creelman) Chipman. He was a member of Bridgewater Golf and Country Club. He was retired from Michelin Tire, Bridgewater, with 21 years of service. Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Smith; sons, Scott, Hebbville; Chris, Kentville; daughter, Rita, at home; brothers, Warren, Bridgewater; Roy, Margaretsville, Annapolis Co.; a niece and a nephew. He rests in peace with Dr. Bob and Bill W. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Nancy Price officiating. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Lunenburg County Home Support Service.

, Doris Ann, 71, of Wileville passed away peacefully at SSRH on October 1st, 2016. Born in Wolfville, N.S, she was the daughter of the Late Edward and Ellen (Morine) Smith. An avid crafter, Doris spent countless hours making quilts and crafts for family and loved ones. She also enjoyed researching her families genealogy, spending most of her free time learning about the history and organizing it all. She loved to have a good time, laugh and could be known for cracking jokes, or enjoying such things as camping, bingo and yearly trips to the casino. Doris was highly involved in the Al-Alon program, where she spent years helping others which always made her happy. She is survived by her son, Chris (Heather), Kentville, N.S; daughter, Rita, Wileville, N.S; 3 grandchildren, Emma, Courtney and Patrick, as well as 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters; June (Eero) Halinen, Peggy (Albert) Schaffner, Carol (Wayne) Marshall, Audrey Pearle, and sister in law, Theresa (Douglas) Grandy, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robie, son Scott, and her loving buddy, her dog Chipper. Memorial service will be held
